It seems to be the fashion for the super rich to have super stars turn up and perform at their parties, so we called round to find out who charges how much, and what you get for your money.

Well, for a start, if you do not fall in to the super rich bracket, dont even pick up the phone. A private concert from Elton John is going to set you back a cool couple of million, Tina Turner would hop on a plane for £3 million, and if she wasnt busy, it would take the best part of £10 million to tempt Barbra Streisand to cross the Atlantic.

Corporate shows seem to be happening more and more, with people like Il Divo, Anastacia and Liza Minnelli in demand, with fees ranging from £500,000 to a million.standards. And if that wasn't enough, she is also in talks to perform at a private party for a mystery punter while she is out there which will earn her another £5million.

Madonna £12m for two gigs

MADONNA is to sign the most lucrative contracts of her career - playing two gigs in Dubai for £12.5MILLION. The deal brokered by London based Spirit International Artists, puts Madonna firmly at the top of the money mountain for private gigs.

It's the kind of money that makes DAVID BECKHAM look like a YTS boy at LA Galaxy. The Queen Of Pop is finalising negotiations on a deal to finish her forthcoming world tour in the oil-rich Arab state in November. By my calculations, if one of the gigs - for which she will get £7.5million - runs to 90 minutes she will pocket a staggering £83,333 a minute.
